Social Media Marketer and Professional Photographer

About the role

Noblegate International Academy, an international day school in Ridgeways, Nairobi following the Cambridge Curriculum from Early Years to Year 12, is looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Marketer and Professional Photographer. The role captures the school community, manages its digital presence and drives brand engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs and video of daily school life, classroom learning, laboratory sessions, sports, extracurricular activities and major events such as assemblies, productions and key stage celebrations.
• Plan, schedule and manage content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube to build brand awareness and showcase school achievements.
• Lead live coverage and multimedia documentation for open days, parent dinners, admissions drives and student delegations.
• Create digital graphics, reels and promotional stories for prospective parents, current families and the wider community.
• Monitor social media metrics, track audience engagement and report regularly to refine digital marketing strategy.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Multimedia Arts or a related field; digital marketing or photography certifications are an advantage.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in social media management and commercial or event photography, ideally in an educational institution, corporate setting or creative agency.
• A strong portfolio showing digital photography, lighting, post-processing and successful social media campaigns.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, parents and staff and a keen eye for detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and lighting setups.
• Advanced editing in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro or equivalent.
• Familiarity with content scheduling tools, social media algorithms and paid ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
