Team Leader – Bancassurance DSR

About the role

The Team Leader – Bancassurance DSR is responsible for driving insurance sales through bank channels, managing a team of direct sales representatives, and expanding revenue. The role focuses on strategic leadership, profitability, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Bancassurance sales strategies, targeting customer growth and retention across all product lines.
• Lead daily, weekly and monthly performance reviews, ensuring the team stays ahead of targets.
• Manage cost efficiency, revenue generation, and operational risk controls to prevent mis‑selling and fraud.
• Implement HR standards, succession planning, and talent retention initiatives.
• Coach, motivate and train sales staff, fostering a performance‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Banking, Economics or related field.
• Certificate of Proficiency (COP) is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in the insurance industry, with deep knowledge of bancassurance products and regulations.
• Proven ability to drive business growth, portfolio expansion and profitability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong computer/IT skills for data analysis and reporting.
