Technical Sales & Marketing Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales & Marketing Executive to drive the growth of our DWC and HDPE pipe portfolio in Kenya’s construction and infrastructure sectors. The role combines technical product knowledge with proactive sales activities to generate new business and nurture existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within construction, water, sewerage and civil‑works projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, engineers and distributors.
• Promote Kirin’s range of double‑wall corrugated and HDPE pressure pipes, preparing tailored quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Follow up on enquiries, support project conversion and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI‑based performance objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging project opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery and after‑sales support.
• Prepare regular sales and market intelligence reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of sales experience, preferably selling construction, industrial or engineering products.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a results‑driven mindset.
