Transport Experts for Global Gateway Transport & Urban Facility

About the role

NTU International A/S is building a talent pool of transport experts to support the Global Gateway Transport and Urban Facility 2 project. The pool will provide short‑term technical assistance worldwide, focusing on Sub‑Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia‑Pacific. Selected professionals will contribute to the design, appraisal and implementation of sustainable transport solutions aligned with the European Green Deal.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prepare, appraise and implement transport and connectivity projects.
• Conduct prefeasibility, feasibility and sector studies, including technical, economic and financial analyses.
• Support infrastructure planning, design, rehabilitation, modernisation and investment planning.
• Assist public authorities in developing policies, regulatory frameworks and sector reform programmes.
• Prepare transport investment pipelines that match Global Gateway and European Green Deal priorities.
• Advise on low‑carbon, smart, safe, resilient and inclusive transport solutions and multimodal logistics integration.
• Assess investment climates, promote PPPs and support procurement, tendering and contract management.
• Facilitate coordination among public authorities, EU delegations, IFIs, private sector and development partners.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in transport, infrastructure, mobility, logistics or related sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the listed technical areas.
• Experience working with international donors, development agencies or public‑private partnerships is preferred.
