Unit Sales Manager – Lead & Grow Sales Team

About the role

The Unit Sales Manager will lead a sales unit for Britam in Kericho. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building high‑performing teams, driving business growth and promoting the company’s insurance and financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and coach sales representatives to achieve individual and unit targets.
• Set performance goals, monitor daily sales activities and ensure targets are met.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives.
• Prepare sales reports, analyse performance metrics and implement strategies to improve productivity and customer retention.
• Collaborate with branch and regional leadership to ensure compliance with policies and foster a customer‑focused sales culture.

Required profile

• Strong sales leadership, team management and coaching experience in a target‑oriented environment.
• ECOP or Diploma in insurance and a valid IRA licence.
• Previous experience in financial services such as insurance, banking or asset management is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory workplace practices.
