About the role
The Public Service Commission, through the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, is offering a 12‑month Urban & Regional Planning internship as part of the Affordable Housing Programme (Cohort 2). The role supports housing development projects across Kenya and provides hands‑on experience in planning and marketing project sites.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out duties assigned by supervisors, focusing on affordable housing projects.
- Document skills acquired and contribute to marketing of project sites nationwide.
- Participate in mentorship activities and undertake additional programme‑specific tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field from a recognised university.
- Graduated no earlier than 2020.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Not previously benefited from a similar internship programme.
Required skills
- Computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, data entry).
What we offer
- Paid stipend as determined by the Government.
- Certificate upon successful completion of the 12‑month programme.
