Van Sales Executive – Baby Care / Beauty Care Products

About the role

Our client is looking for a proactive Van Sales Executive to promote and sell baby care and beauty care products across a defined territory in Kenya. The role involves daily route planning, customer relationship building and achieving sales targets while ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily van sales routes to meet sales and distribution goals.
• Promote the company’s baby care and beauty care portfolio to retail outlets and other customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and acquire new accounts.
• Ensure effective merchandising and product visibility at customer sites.
• Manage inventory in the van, reconcile stock and process orders.
• Collect payments where applicable and keep accurate sales records.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and trends.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on sales, inventory and route performance.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing or related field (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of FMCG sales experience, specifically in baby care or beauty care products.
• Proven experience in van sales and route‑to‑market operations.
• Valid B1/B2 driving licence.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
