About the role
Join Africa Nazarene University as a Volunteer Faculty member in the Criminal Justice & Security Management program. You will help shape a high‑quality curriculum, deliver engaging lectures, and support research initiatives while mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement curriculum and course outlines.
- Prepare contact‑learning and online teaching materials and aids.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, and laboratory sessions.
- Create learning assessment plans and evaluate student performance.
- Supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
- Conduct and publish research, contribute to grant writing, and collaborate with peers.
- Advise students on academic and career matters.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and departmental administration.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate at the final data‑collection stage.
- Minimum three years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning, and research skills.
