About the role
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer faculty member to join the Environment & Natural Resource Management program at Africa Nazarene University. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, guiding research, and contributing to curriculum development in a vibrant academic community.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan and implement curriculum and course outlines.
- Prepare contact‑learning and online teaching materials and learning aids.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, laboratory sessions and off‑class activities.
- Design learning assessment plans and evaluate student performance.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students, including internships and research projects.
- Conduct and publish research in specialist areas and participate in grant writing.
- Advise students on academic and career matters.
- Represent the department at conferences, workshops, industrial linkages and outreach visits.
- Support departmental administrative and field operations.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field, or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
- Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning and research skills.
