Waiter/Waitress – Full‑time Service Role

About the role

MaloMalo Restaurant in Westlands, Nairobi is looking for a professional Waiter or Waitress to join its front‑of‑house team. The successful candidate will deliver prompt, courteous service, contribute to a memorable dining experience and support the smooth operation of a busy high‑end restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and feedback in a professional manner.
• Support supervision of junior service staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management (e.g., Boma International Hospitality College or Utalii College).
• 3–4 years of experience in a busy, high‑end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and supervisory abilities.
• Well‑groomed, presentable, confident with a professional appearance.
• Age 33 years or older.

Required skills

• Barista operations.
• Basic coffee preparation.
