Accountant – Finance & Accounting Role

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage supplier invoicing, bank reconciliations, and payroll support while ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately post supplier and contractor invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly supplier account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Update and maintain bank book entries for timely posting.
• Prepare and book journal entries in line with accounting procedures.
• Support the processing of labour and out‑grower payrolls.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax and statutory returns.
• Compile and maintain Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) files and records.
• Initiate and process payments via cheques or online banking platforms.
• Ensure proper filing, archiving, and retrieval of accounting and financial documents.
• Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA Part II or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
