Admin & Social Media Manager

About the role

This hybrid position combines office administration with hands‑on social media management for Kuku Box, a network of mobile chicken stalls in Nairobi. You will keep the head office running smoothly while also creating engaging short‑form content that drives customer interest and franchise enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations: supplies, logistics, vendor coordination, call handling and diary support for the management team.
• Maintain digital and physical archives of corporate documents, contracts and franchisee files.
• Support onboarding paperwork, staff records and basic HR administration.
• Prepare and file county permit and licence applications, tracking renewals to ensure stalls remain operational.
• Own the social media content calendar and publish daily on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Shoot, edit and publish short‑form videos (Reels, TikToks) showcasing meals, stall launches, prep, queues and franchisee success stories.
• Design graphics for launches, offers and recruitment campaigns.
• Respond to comments and direct messages in English or Kiswahili and forward qualified franchise enquiries to the sales team.
• Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth and franchise enquiries generated.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of combined office administration and social media/content creation experience.
• Portfolio or live accounts demonstrating short‑form video production you created yourself.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Kiswahili for captions and customer interactions.
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
