About the role
The Broker Incubation Officer will support the Corporate Sales Manager in driving broker onboarding, relationship growth, and distribution channel development for Old Mutual in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Manage distribution channels to increase the number of brokers and achieve product revenue targets.
- Ensure profitability of products while maintaining cost efficiency and internal controls.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with brokers and oversee the sales pipeline.
- Monitor cash and carry policy, ensuring premiums are paid upfront and manage IPF business with finance.
- Attend broker meetings, resolve inquiries promptly, and prepare business development activity reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new insurance products.
Required profile
- Business‑related degree from a recognized university; progress towards ACII/AIIK or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in insurance sales and broker management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
