Business Analyst II – Insurance Implementation

About the role

We are expanding our Business Management team and need a Business Analyst II to drive successful Property & Casualty insurance implementation projects. You will partner with clients and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into effective technology solutions while deepening your expertise in the insurance domain.

Key responsibilities

• Independently gather, analyze, and document moderately complex business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for client implementation projects.
• Create well‑defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement updates in Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and other teams to ensure clear understanding and delivery of requirements.
• Perform data analysis and root‑cause analysis to identify inefficiencies and process‑optimization opportunities.
• Produce documentation, business process workflows, and analysis deliverables for both technical and business audiences.
• Support solution walkthroughs, validation sessions, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with change‑management activities, impact analysis, and communication of requirement updates.

• Eager to expand business analysis and insurance knowledge in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (experience with Waterfall or hybrid approaches is a plus).
• Familiarity with Property & Casualty insurance operations such as policy administration, billing, or claims.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps (ADO), and JIRA for backlog management.
• Understanding of API integrations and process automation.
