Business Development Manager – Group Life Sales

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Group Life Sales will report to the Head of Group Life Sales and provide strategic leadership to grow the Group Life portfolio. You will be responsible for executing the corporate sales strategy, acquiring and retaining key corporate accounts, and expanding into new market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group Life corporate sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Deliver annual new‑business and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, brokers, agents and other distribution partners.
• Lead prospecting and acquisition of profitable Group Life schemes, preparing competitive proposals, tenders and presentations.
• Drive renewal and retention of profitable corporate accounts through proactive client engagement and coordination with underwriting.
• Monitor sales performance by product, intermediary, sector and channel, balancing premium growth with portfolio quality.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in corporate insurance sales or business development (minimum 1 month as indicated).
