Business Development Officer - Money Transfer & Partnerships

About the role

Career Directions Limited is recruiting a Business Development Officer for its client, a leading financial services organization focused on secure, reliable and customer-focused money transfer and remittance solutions. The role reports directly to the Head of Corporate Business and deals with prospective and existing partners. It covers lead generation, deal structuring, onboarding coordination, pipeline tracking and partner relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new partnership opportunities, run introductory calls and presentations, and build relationships with new and existing partners
• Schedule and manage partner meetings and follow-ups
• Support commercial structuring and proposal preparation, manage NDAs and ensure timely contract negotiation and execution
• Coordinate partner onboarding, track progress and support the move to go-live
• Maintain partner trackers, Google Sheets and records, and give weekly and monthly pipeline and performance updates
• Monitor partner performance, respond to queries and resolve issues promptly
• Support BD initiatives and campaigns and collaborate with Operations, Compliance and Finance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in partnerships, business development or client management in money transfer, remittance, forex, fintech or related financial services
• Strong communication, relationship management, organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple partners and tasks at once
