Chief Growth & Investment Officer (CGIO)

About the role

BOFA Group is seeking a senior executive to lead capital mobilisation, strategic partnerships and business growth across its impact‑focused portfolio. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, the Chief Growth & Investment Officer (CGIO) will turn high‑potential ideas into funded projects and revenue‑generating collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a USD 10–20 million qualified funding and investment pipeline.
• Mobilise USD 1–5 million in committed funding or investment within the first year.
• Develop and nurture relationships with impact investors, development finance institutions, foundations, donors, corporations, family offices and strategic investors.
• Lead the creation of investor‑ready proposals, concept notes, business cases, pitch decks and investment memoranda.
• Identify grants, blended‑finance, concessional and commercial investment opportunities.
• Support expansion of BOFA’s water, circular manufacturing, recycling, climate‑resilience and environmental intelligence businesses.
• Establish and maintain a CRM, opportunity tracker and fundraising dashboard.
• Assist with due diligence, term‑sheet negotiations, partnership agreements and investment closing.
• Represent BOFA at investor, donor, government, corporate and international forums.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience in fundraising, investor relations, business development or development finance.
• Proven track record of securing capital and building strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate ideas into viable investment proposals.
• Ability to work closely with finance, operations and technical teams to ensure proposals are evidence‑based and financially sound.
