Client Solutions Advisor

About the role

Kenya Builders & Concrete Company Ltd is looking for a Client Solutions Advisor to act as the face of its retail operations in Westlands, Nairobi. The role engages customers, drives sales and improves the in-store buying experience by understanding their needs, recommending products and closing sales efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, understand their requirements and recommend suitable building materials
• Prospect new customers through referrals, cold calling, site visits, online research, social media, networking events, trade shows and inbound inquiries
• Educate customers on product benefits, pricing and applications
• Maintain strong knowledge of the retail product range and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Process orders, generate quotations and log transactions in HubSpot CRM
• Keep displays organised and stocked, support stock control and inventory updates
• Follow up open quotations and pending orders to closure
• Collaborate with the Telesales team to turn inbound leads into in-store sales and work with warehouse and logistics teams on order fulfilment
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate where necessary

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in construction, hardware or retail
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred)
• Familiarity with basic POS systems
• Attention to detail and ability to work across departments
