Clinical Nurse II – PCU Core Float (Part‑Time Nights)

About the role

BayCare Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to join its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Core Float team on a part‑time night schedule. You will float between several BayCare hospitals in the Tampa Bay region, providing high‑quality patient care during overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Serve as preceptor or charge nurse when assigned, supporting staff development and patient safety.
• Maintain professional accountability, documentation, and compliance with hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Minimum of 2 years PCU experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; nursing specialty certification preferred.
