About the role
The Kenya Medical Training College is recruiting a Corporate Communications Officer (AN scale, KMTC 8) based in Westlands, Nairobi. The role covers communications, branding and customer relations work that supports the College's objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Implement communications, customer and branding strategies to support the College's objectives
- Support activities that enhance the College's corporate image
- Monitor internal and external media communication functions
- Assist in protocol management
- Organize the College's planned events and functions
- Develop content for communication materials
- Support the implementation of the College's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and prepare reports
- Respond to customer enquiries and receive, analyze and share customer feedback
- Manning information desk services at public awareness programmes and outreach forums
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
