Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

Burn Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join its marketing team in Nairobi. The intern gains hands-on experience across digital marketing and works closely with marketing professionals to support online marketing initiatives and help execute effective digital campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with social media campaigns and campaign reports for all countries
• Assist with the web development of projects
• Collect and report data from marketing campaigns
• Track competitor analysis and Burn's rankings on digital spaces
• Attend client meetings with the Digital Marketing Manager and Web Developer
• Manage and update the company database for email campaigns
• Liaise with the creative team to produce materials for country social media
• Complete other administrative tasks as needed

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Creative mindset and self-motivated, eager to learn about digital marketing trends
• Experience with graphic design, content creation or video editing is a plus but not mandatory

Required skills

• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital advertising
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
