Junior Digital Marketer Internship

About the role

Oracom Group, a Nairobi-based tech startup focused on web solutions, is looking for a Junior Digital Marketer intern to support digital marketing activities, student recruitment and training delivery within its OraDMT unit. The role centres on promoting digital marketing training programmes, attracting prospective students and helping with learner engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in marketing and promoting OraDMT's digital marketing and advanced digital marketing training programmes.
• Create and publish engaging content to attract prospective students.
• Support lead generation, follow-ups and enquiries from prospective trainees.
• Help prepare for and deliver digital marketing training sessions.
• Support students during practical classes and learning activities.
• Support basic digital marketing campaigns and compile activity reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage prospective students and explain the value of the training programmes.
• Good organisational skills, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Some experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic practical knowledge of social media marketing, SEO, content creation and digital advertising.
• Added advantage: experience in lead generation, sales, student recruitment or marketing training programmes.
• Added advantage: ability to run digital marketing training sessions or practical demonstrations.
• Added advantage: familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics and advertising platforms.
