Country Director – Kenya

About the role

Amusnet is seeking a Country Director for Kenya to lead market entry, sales, marketing, strategy, operations and partnerships while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business strategy for Kenya, including budgeting for the local subsidiary.
• Conduct market research, product and trend analysis, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Build and manage relationships with local operators, distributors and vendors to achieve sales targets.
• Oversee sales and marketing activities, product popularisation and growth initiatives.
• Supervise, motivate and develop local staff, conducting performance reviews.
• Handle customer relations, respond to inquiries and deliver presentations.
• Provide regular performance reports covering sales, marketing, budget vs. actuals, challenges and opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a managerial or country leadership role within the iGaming industry.
• Strong strategic mindset with experience in business planning, budgeting and go‑to‑market execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of local laws and regulations in Kenya.
• Ability to lead, motivate and build high‑performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
