Customer Service Agent – Australian Tax Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to support our Australian tax accounting clients. The role involves handling data, payment documents and tax‑related transactions while ensuring accurate communication with our Australian office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process client data, payment documents and transactions.
• Prepare and follow up on all required documents for individual and business income tax returns (quarterly and yearly).
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), tax returns, financial statements, payroll, PAYG payment summaries and superannuation.
• Work with MYOB Accountant Enterprises, MYOB Essentials, MYOB Account Rights and Single Touch Payroll (STP) software.
• Update and report to the Australian office via email in English.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by senior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an Australian tax accounting or outsourced tax firm.
• Proven experience with MYOB Accountant Enterprises, MYOB Essentials and MYOB Account Rights.
• Deep knowledge of BAS, IAS, tax returns, financial statements, payroll, PAYG and superannuation for Australian clients.
• APA, CPA or ACCA qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, Outlook) and a fast‑learning attitude.
