Deputy Director for Apostolic Life – Lead for Vocations

About the role

As the Deputy Director for Apostolic Life, also serving as the Lead for Vocations, you will be the primary catalyst for nurturing ordained and lay vocations throughout the diocese. Working within the Ministry & Discipleship Team, you will provide visible, energetic leadership that inspires individuals to discern their God‑given call.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and encourage individuals who feel called to ordained or lay ministry.
• Provide guidance, resources, and mentorship to candidates throughout the discernment process.
• Collaborate with clergy, parishes, and diocesan offices to coordinate vocation events and programs.
• Maintain records of vocation activities and report progress to diocesan leadership.
• Promote a culture of vocation awareness across the diocese.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Church and apostolic life.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage diverse communities.
• Leadership experience within a ministry or pastoral setting.
