Digital Impact Officer – Technology for Development

About the role

The Digital Impact Officer will support UNICEF’s Digital Impact Division by managing the TeamOne advisory service, monitoring digital requests, and helping scale digital, data and AI solutions that improve programme delivery and outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve TeamOne digital advisory requests, service levels and user feedback.
• Maintain clear workflows, guidance and knowledge‑management resources for digital, data and AI solutions.
• Connect programme teams with appropriate technical expertise and external vendors.
• Support identification, assessment and sustainable scale‑up of digital, data and AI innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Transformation, ICT Management, Computer Science, International Development or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in ICT4D within a large international organization.
• Experience designing and implementing large‑scale digital solutions, coordinating vendors, and supporting business analysis, budgets and procurement.
• Exposure to UNICEF or UN programme areas such as health, nutrition, child protection or education.
