Electronic Forensic Investigator

About the role

The Electronic Forensic Investigator will lead fraud prevention and detection initiatives across KCB Group's banking network, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and technology to investigate and mitigate fraud risks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement proactive fraud prevention strategies and detective mechanisms.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments and investigations using best‑practice technology.
• Prepare comprehensive forensic and fraud investigation reports.
• Provide guidance within defined SLAs to reduce revenue losses and support recovery.
• Recommend improvements to fraud management methodologies while minimizing customer impact.
• Track fraud trends, update the fraud database, and raise business‑wide fraud risk awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Banking, Law, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Professional certification such as CFIP, CFE, CISA, CSM or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations with a focus on forensic investigations and fraud prevention.
• Demonstrated leadership handling high‑profile assignments (preferred).

Required skills

• Analytical techniques: Linear regression, clustering, neural networks, decision trees.
• Strong analytical skills in forensic investigations and fraud detection.
