Enterprise Account Manager – Public Sector (East Africa)

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services to drive the adoption of cloud technologies across the East African public sector. As an Enterprise Account Manager you will shape AWS’s presence, build relationships with government agencies and help them leverage AWS services to modernize their operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to grow AWS business in the public sector.
• Manage multiple public‑sector accounts simultaneously, fostering long‑term relationships.
• Articulate compelling value propositions for AWS services and accelerate customer adoption.
• Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive joint solutions.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while managing limited travel requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of technology‑related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent English.
• Proven experience managing public‑sector accounts.
