Field Sales Agent (Automotive Platform)

About the role

Carfix-Connect is a digital platform that links car owners, fleet operators and verified automotive service providers. As a Field Sales Agent you will be the on‑the‑ground ambassador, visiting garages, workshops, dealerships and fleet companies across Nairobi and its surroundings to drive platform adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and visit prospective service providers (garages, workshops, mobile mechanics, dealerships, spare‑parts dealers) within the assigned territory.
• Conduct in‑person demonstrations of the Carfix‑Connect platform, highlighting booking management, work‑order tracking, invoicing, inventory and customer communication features.
• Guide new providers through registration, verification and shop‑setup, ensuring all required documentation is collected.
• Prospect and present fleet‑management tools to corporate vehicle owners and fleet companies.
• Maintain a structured lead pipeline, record daily visits and follow‑ups, and meet monthly sign‑up targets.
• Collect field feedback on product experience, pricing and feature requests, and relay insights to the product team.
• Represent Carfix‑Connect at industry events, trade shows and community meet‑ups to generate awareness.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, direct sales or business development; automotive, logistics or tech experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Nairobi automotive service landscape or a strong willingness to learn it quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain digital solutions to non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently in the field.
