Field Sales Agent

About the role

The Field Sales Agent will drive growth of Purifaaya Ceramic Water Filters across Nairobi and surrounding areas. You will build institutional partnerships, activate retail outlets, and demonstrate the product directly to communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop B2B and B2C customer pipelines through research, events and lead qualification.
• Attend activations, markets, trade fairs, client presentations and conferences to promote the brand and generate prospects.
• Convert pipeline prospects into customers, manage referrals and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Conduct phone‑based customer satisfaction surveys, address queries and request referrals.
• Provide logistics support for order transport and other project activities.
• Gather market feedback, monitor competitor activity and submit weekly sales and pipeline reports.
• Qualify leads by calling potential customers, recording needs, budget, decision authority and purchase timeline in the CRM.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel occasionally upcountry.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with external audiences, suppliers and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple sales activities and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
