Field Sales Representative

About the role

A full-time Field Sales Representative position in Kiambu, Kenya, focused on generating demand for the company's products through client visits and converting leads into paid orders. The role covers outbound calls, territory coverage and CRM.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to company-provided leads, engage and persuade potential customers, identify their needs and recommend products, handle objections and follow up consistently.
• Convert leads into confirmed and paid orders, close deals and meet daily, weekly and monthly performance targets.
• Create demand through client visits, including prescribers, pharmacies, medical facilities and institutions.
• Prepare and implement strategic plans for market penetration and support clients in booking orders and ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain customer and sales records and manage CRM on behalf of the company to keep customer satisfaction high.
• Cover the sales territory thoroughly, map each client, arrange appointments before calls and use a detailed, up-to-date client listing for bulk texting, calling and planning visits.
• Represent the company professionally, dress smartly, know the products well and take part in training and mock detailing challenges.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the divisional manager or management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Experience as a field med rep is a plus.
