Finance Officer – Administration & Finance Manager

About the role

Farsight Africa Group is looking for a Finance Officer to manage day‑to‑day finance and administration functions. The role combines basic finance processes, record keeping, payroll support and office administration within a lean team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of payments, invoices, receipts, petty cash and expenses.
• Support basic bookkeeping, reconciliations and filing of financial documents.
• Prepare monthly finance summaries and track project‑related expenses.
• Process payment requests and coordinate with external accountants, auditors or tax advisors.
• Assist with payroll documentation and staff/consultant payment schedules.
• Coordinate general office administration, procurement documentation and vendor records.
• Support HR administration such as onboarding documents, leave records and timesheets.
• Compile documents for statutory, tax, audit and compliance purposes (KRA, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, PAYE, VAT).
• Prepare simple monthly admin and finance updates and maintain trackers for payments and statutory obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• CPA qualification or CPA Part 2 in progress, or relevant accounting training – an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping or administration.
