Flexible Unqualified Nursery Practitioner

About the role

We are looking for a Flexible Unqualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Partou Rosendale Road Day Nursery in Norwood. You will help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and develop in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support children in daily activities that promote learning, creativity and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery setting.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and fellow staff members.
• Assist with planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.
• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the team.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of EYFS principles.
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
• Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, caring environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of early years curriculum and best practices.
