Funded MSc Scholarships for Graduate Assistants (STEM)

About the role

The University of Embu is offering funded Master’s scholarships for qualified Kenyan citizens under the African Development Fund. Selected scholars will be engaged as Graduate Assistants while pursuing their MSc studies in STEM fields.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tutorials, laboratory or field practicals.
• Provide assessment support and student mentorship.
• Participate in research activities and supervised projects.

Required profile

• Kenyan citizen, 30 years old or younger.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in a relevant field.
• Meet admission requirements for the selected Master’s programme.
• Professional registration/eligibility where applicable.

Required skills

• Evidence of Artificial Intelligence application (for ICT programme).
• Knowledge in Structural Engineering, Water & Environmental Engineering, or Transportation Engineering (for Civil Engineering programmes).
