Human Resources Officer

About the role

Turnpo is looking for a Human Resources Officer to manage day-to-day HR operations and support employees across the organization. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Emali, involving HR processes such as recruitment support, onboarding, documentation and record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HR processes including recruitment support, onboarding, documentation and record keeping.
• Implement and communicate HR policies, and handle employee relations matters.
• Support performance management and staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with management so that job descriptions, staffing needs and HR practices align with organizational goals and local labor regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; relevant HR certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices applicable to the region.
• Experience in employee relations, including handling concerns, conflict resolution and engagement.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Strong HR management and core HR operations skills.
• Ability to develop, implement and interpret HR policies that support compliance and fair workplace practices.
• Competence in job description development.
• Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills, able to work with diverse teams.
