Human Resources Specialist

About the role

GNP Global Business Consultants is an independent advisory firm supporting business owners, corporate executives, investors and international organisations seeking opportunities in Kenya and across Africa. It is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join its Nairobi-based team, working in a professional, globally oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and monthly payroll inputs in coordination with Finance
• Ensure policies and staff handbooks align with the Employment Act, 2007 and Kenyan labour laws
• Advise corporate clients on HR audits, restructuring, contracts and performance management
• Contribute to proposals, run professional training sessions and design reusable HR toolkits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 5+ years of solid HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or client-advisory capacity
• Active professional certification (IHRM Kenya or equivalent) is an advantage

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Kenyan statutory deductions and labour regulations
• Analytical thinking and client-centred service
