Incubation Agent

About the role

The Incubation Agent will drive seller acquisition for Jumia, guiding new vendors through onboarding and ensuring they are equipped to succeed on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through various acquisition channels such as tele‑acquisition, organic, offline and referrals.
• Validate lead quality and persuade sellers to go live on Jumia.
• Complete seller acquisition via the Self‑Sign Up form and provide necessary information for Day 1 success.
• Ensure sellers are admin‑ready, trained, and able to use Jumia tools to grow their business.
• Gather seller feedback and translate it into product, marketing and operations improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in Account Management, Acquisition or Business Consulting.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and spoken communication.
• Customer‑obsessed, proactive, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Exceptional listening, communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
