About the role
We are looking for a motivated intern to support our Payments and Digital Financial Services (DFS) service line. You will work with a multidisciplinary team that designs and implements payment ecosystems across Africa and the broader Young World.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing data‑driven payment and DFS roadmaps for national clients.
- Support research and analysis of payment infrastructure, adoption trends, and regulatory environments.
- Contribute to the preparation of strategic insight reports and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with partners such as central banks, fintechs, and development organisations on pilot projects.
- Help monitor project progress and prepare documentation for stakeholders.
Required profile
- Current university student or recent graduate in economics, finance, business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial inclusion, digital payments, and emerging markets.
- Analytical mindset with ability to work with data and draw insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
