Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will support the Operations Manager by reconciling warehouse stock movements, performing data entry in the WMS (SAP), and conducting daily cycle counts and monthly stock takes. This role ensures accurate inventory records and compliance within the Menengai warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily spot checks, cycle counts and monthly stock takes, reconciling physical stock with WMS data.
• Enter and update inventory data in SAP/WMS, including non‑conformities and bin misalignments.
• Maintain orderly storage, proper housekeeping, and ensure product quality standards.
• Generate and share weekly aging reports with stakeholders.
• Report stock losses or discrepancies to the Operations Manager in real time.
• Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, stock takes, and signed documentation.
• Ensure safety at workstations, aiming for zero accidents and timely escalations.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing.
• At least 4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in warehousing, logistics or FMCG.
• Strong planning, organization, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
