About the role
Join M-KOPA’s expanding People team as the Lead People Partner for Kenya, the company’s oldest and largest market. You will be the strategic advisor to the Kenya leadership team, shaping org design, workforce planning and people strategy as the business scales.
Key responsibilities
- Advise senior leaders on org design, workforce planning and succession strategy.
- Own talent review, performance calibration and succession planning for the Kenya client group.
- Lead employee‑relations resolution and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour law.
- Drive organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and cross‑functional projects.
Required profile
- 8+ years progressive HR/People Partner experience, with 3–6+ years advising director‑level executives in fast‑growth, matrixed organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour law and proven experience handling employee‑relations escalations.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute org‑design, workforce planning or succession frameworks.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation.
