Legal Operations Specialist (Volunteer)

About the role

The Legal Operations Specialist (National TDB Volunteer) supports the Legal Operations Manager in enhancing technology, processes, and transaction implementation within the Legal Department of the Trade and Development Bank Group. This volunteer position provides day‑to‑day administrative and technical assistance to help the department operate efficiently and mitigate legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in continuous improvement of Legal Department processes, systems, and technology, supporting a pipeline of efficiency projects.
• Compile, analyse, and report operational data to generate metrics on resource utilisation and productivity.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and consulting staff to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Provide project‑management support, including plan development, status monitoring, and task tracking.
• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of multi‑stakeholder lending transactions.
• Support monthly budget review, quarterly and annual forecasting for the Legal Department.
• Perform technical and clerical tasks related to case management, such as document preparation and communication handling.
