Manager – Electrical Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – Electrical Engineering to lead the design and execution of wind farm projects in Hyderabad. The role reports to the Head of Electrical Engineering and involves overseeing consultants, ensuring compliance, and driving technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project designs, ensuring technical specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
• Coordinate engineering consultants, review and approve designs and documentation.
• Review equipment test reports and provide technical guidance.
• Represent the engineering team in project meetings and presentations.
• Conduct load flow, short‑circuit and power system studies for wind farms.
• Ensure compliance with Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, CEA and utility regulations.
• Support cost estimation, financial modelling and feasibility analysis for wind energy projects.

Required profile

• B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in wind farm electrical design, substations and EHV transmission lines (up to 400 kV).
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and high professional integrity.

Required skills

• HV/MV/EHV electrical systems for wind projects.
• ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD.
• IEC, IEEE, CEA and utility standards.
