Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will act as the execution engine for Vision Plus' marketing department, turning strategic vision into daily, weekly and monthly campaigns. You will own D2C performance marketing, automation workflows, creative production and retail channel support while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the annual marketing strategy aligned with revenue and market share goals.
• Lead quarterly strategic reviews with the Chief Visionary, presenting data‑driven insights.
• Plan and execute the 10‑year “Made in Kenya” anniversary campaign across TV, radio, OOH, digital, influencer and experiential channels.
• Manage the marketing P&L, allocate quarterly budgets and optimise spend across brand, performance, content, PR and events.
• Run D2C performance marketing, Meta ad optimisation, email workflows in Klaviyo and POS flyer design in Photoshop.
• Deploy and maintain at least eight live marketing automation workflows and run a minimum of eight A/B tests per month.
• Mentor and coach junior designers and marketing executives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performance marketing and D2C channels.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and adjust strategies.
• Hands‑on creative production skills and ability to manage multiple retail partners.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
