About the role
The Merchant Acquisition Agent will drive the acquisition of new merchant clients for HF Group, focusing on selling tills, accounts, CTO, loans and deposits. The role involves planning daily sales activities, mapping business opportunities and presenting suitable banking products to prospects.
Key responsibilities
- Sell tills, accounts, CTO, loans and deposits to merchants and SMEs.
- Plan, track and report daily sales activities to the Team Leader.
- Map and scope business opportunities within the assigned catchment area.
- Conduct presentations and customer interviews at branches or client locations to understand needs.
Required profile
- A degree in a business‑related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking with direct responsibility for SME sales.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self‑driven, integrity, ability to work with minimal supervision and travel on short notice.
Required skills
- Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
