About the role
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will support the Digital Learning Programme implemented by the Frontier Counties Development Council in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and UNICEF. The role focuses on tracking programme performance, collecting and analysing data, and preparing evidence‑based reports to guide implementation across northern Kenya.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the monitoring and evaluation framework for the Digital Learning Programme.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from schools, teachers and county trainers.
- Monitor the rollout of the Computing Curriculum and blended teaching approaches.
- Produce regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Analyse data to identify gaps, successes and lessons learned.
- Support knowledge sharing and integration of findings into county education planning.
- Assist in organising stakeholder meetings and sectoral forums.
Required profile
- University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies or a related field.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of education or digital learning programmes.
- Familiarity with the Kenyan education system and devolution structures.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
