Nursery Deputy Manager (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

Partou Chapel House Day Nursery & Pre‑school is seeking a dedicated nursery practitioner to join as a full‑time Nursery Deputy Manager. You will support the Nursery Manager and Senior Nursery Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the setting, ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and daily operations of the nursery.
• Ensure children participate in activities that support their learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Lead, inspire and develop the nursery team, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
• Build strong partnerships with colleagues, families and external partners.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Proven experience leading a team in an early years setting.
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
