Part-Time Digital Marketer (School Admissions)

About the role

A school in Buruburu is looking for a part-time Digital Marketer to manage its digital presence, create engaging content and support student recruitment through digital marketing and lead-generation activities. The advertised pay is KShs 10,000 plus commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the school's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and WhatsApp pages, keeping communication consistent and engaging
• Build and maintain a content calendar covering school activities, programmes, events, achievements and admissions
• Shoot and edit photos and short-form videos, and create Reels, TikToks, Stories and graphics that show the school's learning environment, facilities and student experience
• Run digital content and campaigns that generate enquiries and support admissions, and follow up leads from social media and WhatsApp
• Set up and run targeted Facebook and Instagram ads, monitor budgets, enquiries and cost per lead, and report regularly on performance
• Update basic website content and apply basic SEO to improve online visibility
• Track growth, engagement, enquiries and leads, and prepare simple monthly reports

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in digital marketing, social-media management, content creation, sales or a related field
• Ability to shoot and edit short-form video with a smartphone or camera
• Experience with Meta/Facebook and Instagram advertising is required
• Experience with a school, education institution or family-oriented organisation is an advantage
