Part Time Lecturer - Financial Accounting Theory

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to deliver courses on Financial Accounting Theory. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to the quality of teaching and learning in the Faculty of Business and Economics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars on Financial Accounting Theory.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations and other assessment materials.
• Ensure educational quality control and assurance throughout the teaching process.
• Conduct educational testing and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (professional accounting qualification is an advantage).
• Relevant academic and professional certificates, transcripts and a current pay slip.
• Three referees’ letters supporting the application.
