Primary/Junior High Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our school in the Limuru area, Kiambu County. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction to Primary and Junior Secondary School (JSS) learners, supporting their academic growth and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, tests, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum specifications and assessment guidelines.
• Teach and support students in Primary and JSS classes, using relevant technology to differentiate instruction.
• Prepare students for all required assessments and maintain classroom discipline according to school policies.
• Collect, analyze, and report assessment data to inform educational planning and interventions.
• Evaluate each student’s progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate records of student development.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Education or a related teaching field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Relevant academic and professional certificates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows OS navigation.
• Competence in using email and other communication tools.
• Strong word‑processing abilities.
• Familiarity with office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
• Effective internet and web‑browsing skills.
