Project Manager – Cross‑departmental Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead a cross‑departmental team to deliver medium to high‑complexity projects that have enterprise‑wide impact. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, to quality standards and within the agreed scope.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Communicate expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders and maintain regular liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Prepare and analyse status reports, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Establish success criteria, conduct post‑mortems and produce lessons‑learned recommendations.
• Estimate resource requirements, draft budget proposals and negotiate staff allocations.
• Recruit additional staff or consultants when necessary and manage the project team from initiation to closure.
• Develop full‑scale project plans, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts and manage dependencies and critical paths.
• Proactively manage scope changes, devise contingency plans and mentor team members.
• Build and maintain business relationships essential to project success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams on complex projects.
• Strong ability to manage risk, quality and progress against organizational standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering results.
